A coal train pulls out of the siding on the Toms Creek Branch north of Coeburn destined to Bluefield. The crew had worked out of Bluefield the previous evening to bring empties to Norton.
An afternoon haze still hangs over the mountain as NS Train 87 arrives at Strasburg on its run from Manassas to Harrisonburg.
